AICA ON CAMPUS THRIFT STORE

Hours of Operation:  Tuesday-Saturday 10am-1pm
The Aquidneck Island Christian Academy has been granted this thrift store by God's gracious providences and for His own glory.  We are ambassadors for the Lord Jesus Christ and will strive to operate this ministry with joy and thanksgiving to Him who has been ever kind and faithful to us in this endeavor.  May God be pleased to use us to this end.  "Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us ..."  II Corinthians 5:20

OUR MISSION

We desire to establish a well managed thrift store in the town of Portsmouth in an effort to fund the operational budget for the Aquidneck Island Christian Academy.  We will receive our inventory from donors in the AICA and local church communities and greater Newport County area.  Our store will sell quality secondhand merchandise and will offer an attractive and appealing place for customers to shop at affordable prices.

The success of our Thrift Store will depend on biblically sound business practices.  We will strive to be examples of Christian love to all who enter our doors and will demonstrate kindness and respect when serving our community.  We will remember Christian principles when advertising our busienss, remain faithful to the Word of God when making policy, and exercise integrity when establishing inventory prices.
