Aquidneck Island Christian Academy - “A Christ-Centered and Classical Education”
“Christ-Centered and Biblical Worldview”

“For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on the earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the Head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.”  Colossians 1:16-18

Aquidneck Island Christian Academy strives to teach all subjects as parts of an integrated whole by which “all things” consist and find meaning in Christ and the Scriptures.  2 Timothy 3:16-17.

Aquidneck Island Christian Academy strives to exemplify a clear model of the Biblical Christian life through our staff and Board.  Matthew 22:37-40.

Aquidneck Island Christian Academy strives to encourage each student to begin and develop a personal relationship with God the Father through His Son Jesus Christ (Matthew 19:13-15; 28:18-20).

Aquidneck Island Christian Academy strives to inculcate within the students an understanding and focus of the world and every aspect of life that finds its foundation from within the pages of Scripture and not the world (Colossians 1:16-18; 2:8; 3:23).

A Classical Model of Education

The Trivium; knowledge, understanding, and wisdom: Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric; these are the three roads to learning.

Aquidneck Island Christian Academy strives to emphasize grammar, logic and rhetoric in all subjects. Aquidneck Island Christian Academy strives to encourage each and every student to develop a love for learning and to live up to his or her academic potential.

Aquidneck Island Christian academy strives to provide for each student an orderly atmosphere, which is conducive to the attainment of the above goals.

Grammar: The fundamental rules or rudiments of each academic.

Logic: This is the ordered relationship of the particulars within each academic and within all things.

Rhetoric: This is the clear expression of the grammar and logic of each and every academic.
